A new take on chocolate-covered oranges ππ«
15 mins prepServes 2
This easy one-ingredient orange sorbet is a healthy snack or dessert that's vegan, gluten-free, and refreshing. Top it with melted chocolate and sea salt for an extra sweet treat, or enjoy it as is.
Peel mandarin oranges. Add peeled mandarin orange segments to a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Once the oranges are frozen, add them to a food processor and pulse for a few minutes to break them up. The texture will be dry at first, but keep blending and scraping down the sides until it gets creamier. If needed, you can add about 1/4 cup of coconut milk to help it blend, but this is optional. If you prefer a sweeter sorbet, add maple syrup while blending. Once your sorbet is creamy, transfer it to a bowl to serve. For an optional topping, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the sorbet, then sprinkle with sea salt. Enjoy!
